Lets see the main types of coffee beans.

There are 3 main types of coffee beans. These are Arabica, Robusta and Liberica. There are also different variation or sub-types of these beans. But 3 main bean known types in the world are the 3 coffee beans listed above.

The main difference of these coffee beans are their different flavours which is the result of the climate they were sourced, the way how they were processed and harvested.

Arabica: This coffee bean with low caffeine and a smoother taste is aromatic and delicious. 80% of the coffee in the world is produced from these types of beans.

Liberica: Liberica is a low yield type of coffee compared to Arabica and Robusta.

Robusta: This type of coffee, which contains 2.5% more caffeine than other types, has a pretty strong taste.
